Privacy policy
How NaviKind Labs collects, uses, shares and protects personal information.
Effective October 15, 2026.
1. Who we are
NaviKind Labs LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company (“NaviKind Labs,” “we,” “us” or “our”), is responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
2. Scope
This policy applies to our websites, including navikindlabs.com, any private previews, demonstrations, forms and surveys we offer on them, and correspondence you send us (together, the “Services”). It does not apply to our products once they are released. Each product will have its own privacy notice, published before it is made available.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Information you give us
When you write to us, fill in a form or survey, request access to a preview or take part in one, or give us feedback, we collect what you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, organization, the content of your message and your answers. You do not need to give us personal information to read our public pages.
3.2 Information collected automatically
When you use the Services, we and our service providers collect technical and usage information, such as your device’s IP address, browser and device type, the pages and features you view, the time and length of a visit, and the page or link that brought you to us. In a private preview or demonstration, this includes how you use it, such as the screens you open, the actions you take and how much of each video you watch.
3.3 Information we do not seek
Please do not send us health information, financial account details, government identifiers or other sensitive information. Our previews and demonstrations use invented examples and do not ask for your own records. If you send us sensitive information, we will use it only to respond to you and will delete it when it is no longer needed.
4. How we use information
- To respond to you and keep records of our correspondence.
- To provide, secure and maintain the Services, and to detect and prevent abuse.
- To understand how the Services are used and to improve our websites, previews and products, including by reading the feedback you give us.
- To contact you about your feedback or a preview, where you have agreed to that.
- To comply with law and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use it to train AI models. We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing, and we do not use personal information for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
5. Legal bases for processing
Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the UK GDPR applies, we rely on: your consent, for optional analytics and for any other processing we ask your consent for, which you may withdraw at any time; our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the Services and responding to you; the steps you ask us to take, such as giving you access to a preview; and our legal obligations.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
We use storage in your browser that is necessary for the Services to work and to be secure, such as remembering a choice you made or keeping a form you have started. Our hosting and security provider may also set a strictly necessary cookie when it needs to distinguish people from automated traffic. With your consent, we use analytics cookies to understand how visitors use our websites.
Analytics cookies are not set unless you accept them. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the foot of every page. If you withdraw consent, analytics stop loading on later pages. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a decision to decline optional analytics.
7. How we share information
We share personal information with service providers that process it on our behalf under contract, including providers of hosting and security, website analytics, email and business software, and form and survey processing. Our providers currently include Cloudflare and Google.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect the rights, safety or property of NaviKind Labs or others, or in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own marketing.
8. International transfers
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where information about individuals in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland is transferred, we and our providers rely on recognized transfer mechanisms, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK and Swiss extensions, or Standard Contractual Clauses.
9. Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, including to respond to you, to improve our products, to keep business records and to meet legal obligations. We then delete it or de-identify it. Analytics data is kept for the limited period set in our analytics settings, and choices stored in your browser stay there until they expire or you clear them.
10. Your rights and choices
Wherever you live, you may ask us to confirm whether we hold personal information about you, to give you access to it or a copy in a portable format, to correct it or to delete it. You may object to our use of it where we rely on legitimate interests, and you may withdraw any consent you have given. We respond to these requests whether or not a law requires us to.
To make a request, email info@navikindlabs.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line. We will verify your request using information you have already given us. We aim to respond within 45 days, or within one month where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies. You may use an authorized agent where the law permits. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with “Privacy appeal” in the subject line. If you are not satisfied with the outcome of an appeal, you may contact your state attorney general. Individuals in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland may also complain to their data protection authority.
Do Not Track. Some browsers offer a Do Not Track setting. There is no common standard for it, and we do not respond to it. We honor Global Privacy Control, as described in section 6.
11. Security
We protect personal information with technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit and limited access. Our Security page describes our approach. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
12. Children
The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or under 16 where the GDPR applies. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy here with a new effective date, and we will describe material changes at the top of the policy. We will not use personal information we already hold in a materially different way without your consent.
